No garage sales today, instead I decided to go shopping in the city (Melbourne). It was very busy in town, a knitting for charity crowd gathered as did a jazz festival at federation square. I walked through Degraves street and saw hundreds of people huddled over their eggs benedict laughing and talking and having fun. It truely does have a wonderful atmosphere. I also stopped at the Craft Victoria ‘Craft Hatch’, had a look at the Myer reno and then shopped at David Jones. Lunched at a Japanese restaurant in Elizabeth Street and then went to Eckerslys for some art supplies. So very many heavy things to carry so took a cab home. I felt like a princess.
