Collage and Drawing are the basis of new artwork in my latest exhibition, Primavera.

I would like to invite you to the exhibition opening of Primavera – a group show by the out of the box group of artists (8).

It would be wonderful to see you at the opening for drinks on Saturday 5th November 2-4pm

Primavera represents new beginnings, for me this means the beginning of something brand new but equally the emergence of something with hybrid origins should present as something with a new beginning.  Evidence of such new beginnings where both the old and the new are brought together can be seen everywhere, think about houses, the landscape and even people that have blended ethnicities or people born into one culture and raised in another.  My work incorporates drawings and cutouts of these drawings into collage along with found images from disparate old reference books to create a brand new wholeness.  I would like the viewer to value new beginnings in the way that I do which is a mix of old and new coming together.

Best Wishes, Anne Warren00341509.jpg
