I love the snow falling on the screen through December even though it never does in Melbourne. It is very pretty. Another good exhibition to consider going to is the Walker Street Gallery (Dandenong) 9 x 5 which has just started.

If you get to the exhibition look for mine it is collaged and unusual for me it is glossy and highly textured.  I didnt get to any great garage sales but I did buy a couple of books with some potential cutouts for my collage.  The bananas were up to $18 per kilo, now back down to $2 at preston market (the bunch pictured) just $2.  The Almanac is great reading because it has some competitions in it that I may consider entering.  It is very encouraging to see prizes being offered.  I would love it if more local councils or businesses would consider offering prizes – its quite difficult for artists financially.
