Had a great day today. Went to two garage sales and have taken some shots of the books that I purchased. I had coffee in Smith Street Collingwood with En-En, visited Cambridge Studio Gallery and then had a leisurely afternoon.

The organge coloured book by Fred Gettings has some interesting instructions and examples inside, the floral picture is from The Shell Guide to Flowers of the Countryside – gorgeous illustrations by Edity and Rowland Hilder, the modelling book is just cute, cute colours, cute period, cute size etc.  Spent Friday afternoon with Clare at the flower and garden show and have posted just a few photos.  I hope I have his name correct as I just watched an arts program on artist Brian Clark – I liked his drawings, paintings, stained glass.  He translates his loose scribble lines into stained glass – much more contemporary than what we see around us.  Julia is my gorgous niece.
