pencil and found image

I have a new body of work that over the past few monthsI have shown you small details from. I have completed around 11 new drawings and will need to name the pieces – any suggestions?

Drawing on Arches paper

Pencil drawing incorporating blanket.

By the way, I dont mind a bit of humour, I dont like to be too descriptive, I don’t like elaborate poetic names, I do like simplicity and a bit of humour but not to cutesy.  See it is hard.  The blanket appears throughout and is a link to all the drawings.  What is under the blanket it secure, safe, confident – not vulnerable.

Pencil Drawing, gouache and found background image.

This piece is drawn on a Japanese block print calender image, painted over with gouache, drawn and then some of the paint is washed back to return some of the original image.

Thanks Veronica – I might fit it in somewhere. You are right it can have different meanings.
