Exciting Contemporary Mosaic Art Exhibition at Bundoora Homestead on very soon.

I’d like to tell you about a wonderful artist that lives across the road from me.  We meet all the time, discuss exhibitions, art, help each other as much as we can with other things like cups of sugar etc.  When I recently had my kitchen redone this lovely person came with roast vegetables and chicken, cakes etc.  I am so lucky to have her nearby.  When I sit in the studio I can hear her door shut and I wait for the footsteps to come to my door.  Always welcome.

Cetta Pilati is a Mosaicist, she uses natural marble cut from quarries from all over the world.  Her work will always stand the test of time.  She makes 2D work and 3D work as per the people in this image (www.facebook.com/cetta.pilati.).  There will be artist talks as well as an official opening on Saturday 13th.  It is a group show of Mosaisists throughout the Gallery.

Cetta also conducts workshops in Melbourne and around Australia.  She has trained in Italy with traditional techniques.
