I am posting some pics of our garden fundraiser for Nathan’s new wheelchair.

garden 1 garden 2 We sold so many plants and seeds donated by the City of Darebin, Melbourne Polytechnic, Diggers Club, Yates and home grown green things from lovely neighbours.  The barbeque / sausage sizzle was donated by the Lions Club of Northcote – they even sold christmas cakes and puddings with all the funds going to Nathan.  Nathan had an accident nine years ago and his only funds are a small pension which pays for his accomodation with a very small amount left for incidentals.  The standing wheelchair is something that Nathan trialled and fell in love with.  I’m pretty sure he will have the funds 4  garden fundraiser crowd garden nathan and carer garden ninnagarden artThis is an image of some of my work just hung as I prepare for the open studio weekend which is coming up very soon.
