I am posting some pics of our garden fundraiser for Nathan’s new wheelchair.
We sold so many plants and seeds donated by the City of Darebin, Melbourne Polytechnic, Diggers Club, Yates and home grown green things from lovely neighbours. The barbeque / sausage sizzle was donated by the Lions Club of Northcote – they even sold christmas cakes and puddings with all the funds going to Nathan. Nathan had an accident nine years ago and his only funds are a small pension which pays for his accomodation with a very small amount left for incidentals. The standing wheelchair is something that Nathan trialled and fell in love with. I’m pretty sure he will have the funds soon.
This is an image of some of my work just hung as I prepare for the open studio weekend which is coming up very soon.
So wonderful, I´m happy for Nathan! 😊
Thank you we are almost at our target.
