Canberra Art Exhibition and Art Workshop coming soon.
It’s almost here. Thursday 4th of October at 6pm if you are anywhere near Tuggeranong in Canberra please come by, say hello, have a glass of wine and you will see what I have been working on for my exhibition Mergence.
If you have an interest in mixed media or collage you will see I have a workshop on Saturday 6th October for beginners and or experienced artists using the collage methods and techniques that I use.
Art exhibition nearing at Alphington Open Studios at the end of the month.
Hello Everyone,
Just want you to know that the Alphington Open Studios will be on again on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th of November. Below I have inserted a still life painted image and below that a mixed media drawing and painting. Hope you like them. Preparing for next weeks art exhibition ‘Now and Then’
Whenever I exhibit with the Out of the Box Artist group there is usually something extra, something collaborative or similar made by each of the artists. This year we all passed on to others in the group some hand painted or treated paper pieces. Below is my little patchwork country collage piece on board.
I have approximately 8 artworks in this exhibition.
Official Opening next Sunday 8th October, 2-4pm.
Melbourne East Arts Festival art exhibition August 18-20th.
I was so pleased to be invited to exhibit works at the Melbourne East Arts Festival on Friday 18th August to Sunday 20th August. Inside this beautiful little church, alongside the magnificent stained glass windows I will be exhibiting a solo still-life exhibition of paintings made especially for this occasion. In another room I will be exhibiting a selection of collage work with the highly regarded and beautiful sculpture of Michael Meszaros.
By the way I have heard that the wine and food flows at this event.
Hope you can come along and join us at the Friday evening opening at 8.30pm (note there is a $10 fee as it is a fundraiser for the church) and please also keep in mind the other calendar of events available during this weekend.
Michael and I will be there most of the weekend to talk to you. Please contact me for any further information or contact the email addresses on the brochure.

Coming soon my art exhibition in East Melbourne.
I will exhibit collage/mixed media work and still-life painting and Sculpture Michael Meszaros will exhibit his 3d sculpture on the August 19-20th. Here are a couple of details from my work. The still-life work is acrylic on birch board or canvas and the collage work is on paper. Hope you can lock in the date.
Alphington Open Studios Art Exhibition
We are posting leaflets into letterboxes about our forthcoming open studio event and having such a great time admiring all the Spring gardens as well as some quirky letterboxes. Keep the dates in mind and invite a friend for a wander from street to street or even a drive. It’s actually quite a small event 7 studios open but 10 Artists showing their work and available for a chat. We will be ready rain hail or shine.

Works on Paper exhibition entry open soon and here is a detail from my entry.
Here is a detail from one of three pieces I will be entering into a works on paper exhibition. I am using acrylic paint for backgrounds and several collage cutouts. The man is hand drawn and painted with inspiration from Bruegel the Elder. All three pieces are quite small and all are hybrid characters.
My exhibition has started but the opening is on Saturday at 2.00pm. If in Melbourne please come by.
